Here are some common questions we get asked.
What is the cost to rent a garden plot?
Prices are subject to change without notice, but the cost to rent each garden plot in the 2025 season is $70 + $3.50 gst = $73.50.
The rental fee gives you the use of the garden plot during daylight hours of the growing season, for the purpose of growing flowers and / or crops only. No animal husbandry is permitted, and no on-site sales are permitted.
Do you charge a deposit?
Yes, each plot is charged a $50 deposit, which is refundable. There are two reasons for the deposit:
a) Once you pay a deposit on a garden plot, it is taken out of the rental pool and is reserved for you. Your deposit will be forfeited if you fail to follow through with the rental.
b) Once the rental has been completed, the deposit is held until you return the plot back to us in the same condition as we gave it to you. If you fail to clean the plot, then we will use your deposit to hire someone else to clean your plot for you.
How big are the garden plots?
Each garden plot measures 20’ wide by 50’ long, for a total of 1000 square feet.
